Me! Does anyone else remember the Lemon Twist thingie. You know where you wrap
one end around your ankle (well it was actually a loop) and you swung it out
where it went around and you would jump with your other foot over the swinging
lemon? I *loved* that thing.

My sis and I get get differentiated by our "age difference" as well, and
when we were little people would always comment that I should have been the
"younger one" (by 4 minutes!!!) because I was shorter and smaller than her,
and it wasn't a jokey thing either- these were comments made on a regular
basis by peers and adults.

Their underage drinking and false id's get so much press that I WANT to have a
problem with these girls but I don't. I keep waiting for it to segue into
bullying their way into high profile venues and using the Bush name to advance
their night crawling, but they mostly seem eager to keep their real identies on
the down low and just do their underage partying in peace with their friends.
I can understand that and sympathize. :)

I'm the older twin (14 minutes, thanks) of my 6'4 blue-eyed blond-haired
brother. (me? 5'2" hazel-brunette) And yup, I'm still refered to as the older
sister.

I was always under the impression that twins/triplets/quads/and so forth
kept very careful track of which sibling was the oldest/youngest, etc.
So that part of the story doesn't surprise me in the least.

I'm tripping more at the "brainy bush twin" headline. Their recent
headlines belie the "brainy" moniker.

Kaiju <if they were so brainy, they'd stay out of bars for the next few
months...>

I don't think intelligence has much to do with their bar-hopping.
I've known many very intelligent people who wasted a lot of time
drinking. It looks like they're just doing the young-person
rebellious thing. Most grow out of it. I do think they are acting very
irresponsibly, though. Not exactly "smart" when it comes to
public perception and the situation they're in. You'd think that
kids in their position would stick to home over the summer or
do something useful, especially considering the situation. They don't
act as though they have much respect for their parents.

One of the worst was John Orr, the Chief Arson Investigator of the Glendale
(Calif.) Fire Department. He set a record number of fires up and down the
state (so he could "solve" the fires and be an investigative "hero"), including
one he set in a home improvement store that killed four people, and another one
set in the residential foothills of Glendale that destroyed 60 homes. Joseph

Something similar happened in a town in Illinois. Volunteer firefighters
were setting fire to abandoned homes and buildings. Since the buildings
were often decrepit and/or no insurance claims were filed, no
investigation was done until an occupied house was accidentally ignited
from one of these fires. Two volunteer firefighters were arrested.

There was another similar case in Gainesville, Fla.

There was even a case in Europe where the arsonist was a fireman's mother!
She'd set fires, then tip him off so that he could be first on the scene
and get all the glory.
